The Hershey Center for Advanced Research is home to biotech companies and researchers involved in advancing science and technology in new and exciting ways. Many of our tenants are at the forefront of innovation within the biotech community, in both the public and private sectors. New medical devices, treatments, drugs, nanotechnology, and much more are the result of research conducted by the biotech companies located at HCAR. Cost-effective laboratory facilities and common areas make HCAR the perfect environment for any biotech company. We frequently host events and seminars which bring together some of the most distinguished researchers across a variety of fields of study, fostering the type of networking our tenants need to succeed. The professional staff at HCAR knows that for any new biotech company, startup capital and funding can be hard to find. Our business services exist to help new companies with great ideas and potential find the startup funding they need to get off the ground. HCAR is more than just a landlord; we're dedicated to seeing our tenants succeed in terms of their research as well as their business. A lot of budding biotech research companies, through no fault of their own, lack the business connections and relationships in the Central PA area that would help them find startup capital to begin to grow their business. HCAR is the bridge between biotech companies and startup funding; our business services work to put our tenants in touch with the people and organizations most likely to provide startup capital.
