Community Advisory Board

Formed in 2010, the CAB helps HCAR solicit advisement on leasing of facilities and other key functional areas of the research park. The group meets bi-monthly and is comprised of leaders from the surrounding technology, academic, small business, trade, non-profit and other appropriate communities.

The mission of the Community Advisory Board is to provide consultation and leadership to the staff of the Hershey Center for Applied Research on matters involving business development, marketing, government relations, partner relations, community outreach and science and research for HCAR. The CAB will help design, evaluate and execute on plans, initiatives, programs and conferences as they relate to scientific content and material. From time to time HCAR will mobilize the CAB to assist with prospect and tenant development to identify all possible scientific opportunities and collaborations.
