Connections Abroad - A Speakers Series on International Business and Cross-Cultural Dialogues China: Business and Cultural Customs Hosted by Hershey Center for Applied Research and Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC
Understanding the business customs of a culture is paramount to success abroad. During this first installment of the International Business and Cross-Cultural Dialogues series, we’ll blend both the personal and professional customs of China into an engaging presentation for business professionals and international travelers.

Meet our Speakers
David Briel, Executive Director of the Center for Direct Investment, Office of International Business Development, Department of Community & Economic Development, will provide an overview of the programs and services provided through the Office of International Business Development for the State of Pennsylvania.
Greg King, Global Sales Director, Datacom Business Unit, Communications and Industrial Solutions Division of TE Connectivity, will discuss his professional experiences with global OEM and Electronic Manufacturing Services, with a special focus on revenue responsibility in China.
Peter Godino, Senior Engineer, Global Operations of The Hershey Company, will discuss inroads for international business ventures and his personal experiences living and working in China.
Anna Marshall, Professor of Mandarin Chinese at Messiah College, will speak to the cultural distinctions between the Chinese and American people.
